The extinguisher bodies are fully deep drawn from cold rolled steel, and pressure tested to twice the extinguisher’s working pressure. Cylinders are externally coated with polyester (with phosphate under treatment) for maximum corrosion resistance and have passed the 480-hour salt spray test. The water and foam extinguishers are internally coated with “performance polymer alloy” to prevent corrosion. Its chrome plated operating brass headcap is fitted with a safety relief valve.
Dry Powder (ABC): ABC dry powder extinguisher is effective on Class A (carbonaceous) fire, Class B (flammable liquid) fire and Class C (flammable gas) fire. It is also suitable for use on live electrical fires.
Monnex Powder: Monnex powder extinguisher is recommended for high risk areas where rapid knockdown is required on Class B and C fires. Monnex is particularly suitable for use in refineries, petrochemical complexes and other high hazard areas.
