1. The fabric windsock is made so it takes the shape of a truncated cone when it is filled with air.
2. The minimum effective length and the throat end opening diameter of the fabric windsock are as follows
– Eight feet (2.5 m) in length and 18 inches (0.45 m) in throat diameter.
– Twelve feet (3.75 m) in length and 36 inches (0.9 m) in throat diameter.
3. A metal framework is provided to hold the throat of the fabric windsock fully open under no wind conditions and to provide an interface with the support.
4. Options to have lighted windsocks or add obstruction lighting.
